About this place
For lunch at Yoshichō-tei, the Special Lunch is an appealing way to enjoy several yoshoku favourites at once. Diners have described a plate featuring hamburg steak, a fried egg, fried prawns, pork cutlet and loin ham, with potato salad on the side. Another lunchtime visitor reported a generous spread of fried prawns and hamburg steak, accompanied by Napolitan spaghetti and cabbage and potato salads. The large prawns and tender hamburg steak stood out in particular. If fried prawns are what you’re after, they make a good reason to choose lunch here. Someone who tried the A Lunch also remembered the flavour of the butterflied fried prawn.
For a simpler plate than the assorted lunch, hayashi rice is another option. The menu describes it as thinly sliced beef and onion, stir-fried and simmered with demi-glace sauce and ketchup, then generously spooned over rice. It is listed at 700 yen, and one diner described its flavour as on the sweet side. Curry rice and pork cutlet curry rice, served with a mini salad, are also available.
There is also the option of coffee after your meal; the lunch menu lists it at 200 yen.
